My biggest worry about surgery isn’t really the result—it’s the safety part. I read about some bad hygiene issues in cheap clinics abroad, but I know the UK is strict about this stuff. My sister’s a nurse and she always says UK clinics have to follow so many rules. Has anyone ever had issues, or is it just something you need to be extra careful about?

Safety’s always the top concern. I’ve seen a few documentaries about how different countries approach hygiene, and it really is all about finding somewhere that actually follows the rules, not just says they do.
You’re right to be cautious. One thing I learned when researching is that clinics in the UK have to follow some really tough safety and hygiene standards. But I also found that some European clinics actually stick to the same EU rules, especially the ones working with British patients. Like plastic surgery, they’re in Poland, but they go all out on safety, follow EU regulations, and have proper aftercare. It gave me a bit of peace of mind to know that you can get that same level of safety even if you go abroad—just got to check what rules they actually follow.
