Does anyone have go-to ideas for keeping kids busy indoors when it’s pouring rain outside? My two just get bored so fast and start bouncing off the walls. We’ve done forts and baking, but I need new suggestions—ideally something active, since they really miss the playground on rainy days.

Rainy days are the worst for parents with little kids, honestly. I end up with a pile of board games and movies, but that only works for so long. Anything that helps them move around indoors is a win in my book.
We’ve had our share of rainy days too, and it can be tough. One thing we tried that worked surprisingly well was booking the https://essexsoftplaybus.co.uk/. The kids got to run, climb, and burn off energy, but we didn’t have to leave home or mess up the house. If that’s not an option, setting up an obstacle course indoors or even using big cardboard boxes for “soft play” can be fun. I’ve also heard some parents swap playdates at each other’s houses to share the chaos! At least with the bus, you get all the activity with zero cleanup.
